SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a glass fiber reinforced, aluminum foil and thermoplastic laminate, of good quality and uniform construction. 2. APPLICATIO
3、N This specification was released originally for material used in combination with a glass fiber heat and sound absorption batt, as an engine housing insulator. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PR

9、ber, the assembly shall withstand normal shipping, handling, and storage without evidence of delamination or bond failure (glass fiber to thermoplastic surface). 3.11.1 Humidity Exposure No delamination or mold growth Test Method: Three samples shall be exposed in a vertical position, supported by t
10、he aluminum thermoplastic laminate, for 5 days at 38 +/- 1 C and 95 - 100% relative humidity. 3.11.2 Heat Exposure No delamination or bond failure Test Method: Three samples shall be exposed in a vertical position, supported by the aluminum thermoplastic laminate, for 30 min at 205 +/- 3 C. 5.
