2、ILE RUBBER BINDER ESD-M8G191-A NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE: The material defined by this specification is a gasket formed from aramid fibres bonded with nitrile rubber. 2. APPLICATION: This specification was released originally for material suitable for moderate to high flange pressures,
3、- 50 MPa max, and for high temperatures, - 250 C max. Its suitability for use with particular fluids such as methanol containing fuel and coolant solutions should be confirmed by the particular Component Engineering area as the gasket may be affected by contact with these media. 3. REQUIREMENTS: The
4、 requirements of this specification are valid for gaskets of 0,4 to 0,8 mm thickness. The machine direction should be clearly marked on all test sheets. 3.1 COMPRESSIBILITY % 10 - 25 ASTM F36; Procedure A 3.2 RECOVERY %, min 50 ASTM F36; Procedure A 3.3 TENSILE STRENGTH MPa, min ASTM F152; condition
