2、HATE COATING, ZINC ESE-M3P12-A 1. SCOPE This specification defines a zinc phosphate coating. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for a phosphate coating to hold lubricants especially for break-in periods on engine parts, to reduce wear on moving parts and for mild corrosion res
3、istance. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 FILM THICKNESS 0.0001 - 0.0005 in (3 - 13 m) or as specified on engineering drawing The
4、film characteristics are controlled by pre-cleaning, type of metal, by time in, temperature of, and concentration of solution. 3.2 FINISH The coating shall be uniform throughout and must have a similar crystalline structure to that of the original approved sample. 3.3 RUST PROTECTION After phosphate
5、 coating, parts may be protected from corrosion by use of ESE-M7C32-A or equivalent. 5.
