SCOPE The material defined by this specification is well-refined gasoline with controlled octane, density and volatility. 2. APPLICATION This specification was rel

3、eased originally for gasoline used for engine exhaust and evaporative emission testing. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 RESEARCH

Technical evidence of these data and manufacturing limits must be tabulated on the attached form. This certification shall be by the suppliers Director of Research or other authorized of

10、ficial and submitted to the responsible Ford Purchasing activity. This information will then be forwarded to the materials activity of the Engine Product Engineering office. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.1 FLAMMABILITY This material represents a potential fire hazard. The Manufacturing Engineering Department or other responsible activity shall

12、notify both the Security and the Safety Units of its presence to assure that proper fire precautions are provided.
