6、be aged a minimum of 1 h before testing for resistance properties. 3.2.2.1 Gasoline Resistance Shall not blister or show softening or dulling when subjected to immersion in MI-14J148 (Petroleum Naphtha) for 1 h at 23 +/- 2 C. 3.2.2.2 Hot Oil Resistance Shall not blister or show more than slight soft
7、ening or dulling when subjected to immersion in hot 100 +/- 3 C Ford multi-grade engine oil for 1 h. 3.2.2.3 Ethylene Glycol Resistance Shall not blister or show more than slight softening or dulling when subjected to immersion for 1 h at 23 +/- 2 C solution of 50% water and 50% Ford permanent anti-
8、freeze. 3.2.2.4 Salt Spray, min 24 h minimum (FLTM BI 103-01) No blistering, flaking or corrosion permitted more than 1/8 in (3.2 mm) from holes. 3.2.2.5 Humidity 95 - 100% R.H. & 38 +/- 1 C, 48 h minimum No rust, creepage or blisters permitted more than 1/8 in (3.2 mm) from holes. 3.2.2.6 Phosphate
9、 Coating To consistently meet the minimum corrosion resistance, light phosphate coating of 20 - 40 mg/ft2 (215 - 430 mg/m2) is required. 3.3 QUALITY Production shipments must be equivalent to approved purchase sample in laboratory and production test. This includes sprayability, mottling, flow-out,
10、film thickness, color, hiding, hold-out and adhesion. 5. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.1 FLAMMABILITY AND/OR TOXICITY This material represents a potential fire and/or health hazard. The Manufacturing Engineering Department shall notify both the Plant Security and the Safety Units of its presence in the Plant to assure that proper fire and/or health precautions are provided. The location in which it is used or stored shall be included in the notifications.
