2、ial defined by this specification is a polyol based, mineralfilled, solvent free adhesive which in connection with isocyanate hardeneraccording to ESK-M2G365-A2 cures at room temperature within approx. 24 hto reach about 80 % of final adhesion strength.2. APPLICATIONThis specification was released o

3、riginally for a material mixed withESK-M2G365-A2 to bond car cross beam (e-coated) to brackets (chromatedsteel, dirt and grease free).3. REQUIREMENTS3.1 STATISTICAL PROCESSSuppliers must conform to the requirements of Ford Quality SystemStandard Q-101. A mutually acceptable Control Plan as described

4、therein is required for material/source approval. Appropriatestatistical tools must be used to analyze process/product data sothat variation in the final product is continuously reduced.3.2 INFRARED SPECTROPHOTOMETRY AND/OR THERMAL ANALYSISFord Motor Company, at its option, may conduct infrared and/

5、orthermal analysis of material/parts supplied to this specification.The IR spectra and thermograms established for initial approval shallconstitute the reference standard and shall be kept on file at thedesignated material laboratory. All samples shall produce IR spectraand thermograms that correspo

6、nd to the reference standard when testedunder the same conditions.3.3 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONSAll test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned ina controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relativehumidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under th

14、ification requirements.3.17 SOURCE OF SUPPLYThis material must be bought from the same supplier as the materialaccording to ESK-M2G365-A2.3.18 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSSpecific requirements for material and/or manufa ctured parts shall bespecified on the Engine ering drawing, Engineering part specific

15、ationand/or performance specifications. All critical areas with respectto these properties shall be clearly designated on the engineeringdrawing.3.19 SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITYAll materials supplied to this specification must be equivalent inal l characteristics to the material upon which approval was

16、originally granted.Pri or to making any change in the properties, composition,constr uction, color, processing or labeling of the materialorig inally approved under this specification, whether or not suchchange s affect the materials ability to meet the specificationrequir ements, the Supplier shall

17、 notify Purchasing, Toxicology andthe affected Materials Engineering activity of the proposed changesand obtain the written approval of the Materials Engineeringactivity. Test data, t est samples and a new code identification areto be submitted with the request.Substance restrictions imposed by law,

18、 regulations or Ford, apply tothe materials addressed by this document. APPROVAL OF MATERIALSMat erials defined by this specification must have pr

19、ior approval by theresp onsible Materials Engineering activity. Suppliers desiring approvalof thei r materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from theaffec ted Purchasing, Design and Materials Engineering activity. Uponrequest, the Supplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engine

20、eringactivity a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, signed by aqualified and authorized representative of the test faci lity, demonstratingful l compliance with all the requirements of this specification (testresults, not nominal values), the material designation a nd code number, andte

21、s t specimens for Ford evaluation. Fords engineering approval of amateri al will be based on its performance to this specification and on anassessment of suitability for intended processes and/or applications. Uponapprov al, the material will be added to the Engineering Material ApprovedSource List.

GENERAL INFORMATIONThe information given below is provided for clarification and assistancein meeting the requirements of this specification.5.1 SENSITIVITY TO WATERNote: Slight traces of humidity will inhibit the cure of thisadh esive. Therefore, close container immediately after removal ofma terial as well as the container of the mixing apparatus afterfilli ng.
