Allow the panel to fall froma horizontal position 10 time

Remove panelfrom slamming fixture and condition for 2 hours at roomtemperature.3) Examine for evidence of loss of adhesion.3.15 THERMAL SHOCK RESISTANCE No loss of adhesionTest Method: Condition bonded assemblies prepared according to 3.14for 72 hours at room te mperature and

GENERAL INFORMATIONThe information given below is provided for clarification and a
41、ssistancein meeting the requirements of this specification.5.1 STORAGE STABILITY(From date of receipt at Ford Motor Company)Minimu m 12 months when stored at temperatures below 30 C. Thereleas e liner shall remove easily when measured by hand peelexamination and shall n ot change appreciably after 1
42、2 months storagebelow 30 C. (To be cert ified by supplier on “Initial Sample Report“)5.2 APPLICATION CRITERIA. Only apply tape to absolutely clean and dry surface. Mating surface should be matched (contoured or parallel ) to ensure100 % contact of the bond area. Once tap e is applied to part e.g. or
43、nament or body side moldingand h as been bonded, and for any reason removed, it shall not bereused. If the ad hesive surface of the tape becomes soiled, the tape-backed part shall not be used unless tape is replaced. The adhesive side of the tape shall not be touched or handled,once the release line
