SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a special viscosity grease consisting of a mineral oil and lithium soap base with molybdenum disulfide ad
3、ditive to give the desired characteristics of a long life lubricant. This grease shall be a homogeneous product, free from oil separation, abrasive fillers, and shall be noncorrosive to lubricated parts in service. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for grease used as a long l
4、ife lubricant for constant velocity joints. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Materials suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 APPEARANCE Material shall be a smooth homogeneous pr
5、oduct free from abrasive particles, it shall be consistent in color and texture, and free from objectionable odors during normal storage.
