VALVE AND WIRING REQUIREMENTS: 4.1 SOLENOID VALVES: The electrical requirements of valves shall comply with SAE 52051 and either ANSI B93.55M or ANSI B93.94M
8、. 4.2 CONNECTORS, CORD SETS: 4.2.1 INTEGRAL CONNECTORS: Pneumatic valves shall be furnished as specified with integral body-to-base electrical connectors conforming with either IS0 5599-2 or with SAE 52051 automotive interface (ref. Ford Standard NEZ-1). 4.2.2 MINI CONNECTORS: Or if specified, the v
9、alve shall be fitted with a male receptacle conforming with ANSI B93.55M (commonly referred to as a 3- or 5-pin “mini connector“). Grounding shall be accomplished by connection of the longer grounding pin to a screw provided for this purpose inside the valve body. 4.2.2.1 4.2.2.2 4.2.3 4.2.3.1 CORD
10、SETS: When the ANSI B93.55M receptacle is specified, the valve shall be wired to the electrical circuit with an approved 3- or 5-conductor, *16 AWG yellow cord set with molded-on, female plug. Insulation on the cord shall be STO, SOO, STOOW-A or SOOW-A,as agreed between the supplier and the end-user
11、 customer. All cord sets shall be certified to Underwriters Laboratories U.L. Component Recognition Program (UR) and CSA requirements and meet NEMA 6P (IP68) environmental ratings as a minimum. Note: It is the responsibility of the requisitioning activit to list preferred cord sets on their Form 263
12、0 - Electrical Equipment Data Form. IS0 4400 CONNECTORS: Or if specified, the valve or its solenoid(s) shall contain a male-end connector to accept a female plug conforming to IS0 4400 (commonly referred to as a DIN plug). INDICATOR LIGHTS: The IS0 4400 plug shall include a LED indicator or shall be
13、 fitted with an LED sandwich gasket, if the valve lacks its own indicator. 14、 and SAE 52051, or ANSI B93.94M when using IS0 4400 connectors. 4.3.1.1 4.3.2 Single solenoids with 5-pin mini connectors shall be wired per SAE 52051. 4.3.3 For solenoids which have flying leads (e.g. encapsulated types Or, if cord sets containing colored conductors are used, connect the solenoids
15、in accordance with Ford Standard EXl, Appendix I. Note: For numbered solenoids, 12 corresponds with A and 14 corresponds with B. without connectors), wiring connections shall be made with the same size and type of yellow cord indicated in section 4.2.2.1 in accordance with methods given in Standard EXl. 5. DRAWINGS: 5.1 The identification and functional description of valve solenoids shall be the same in electrical and fluid power drawings.
