2、mulates adhesion loss of certain paint formulations over plastic substrates due to heat and humidity aging. Apparatus Required Oven Forced air circulation, capable of maintaining a temperature of 55 +/- 2 C. Glass Jars 250 ml, fitted with aluminum foil-lined lids Syringe Calibrated to 0.1 milliliter
3、s Distilled or deionized water Absorbent tissue or towel Conditioning and Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same con
4、ditions unless otherwise specified. Procedure 1. Cut a sample of coated substrate to be tested into a size that will fit in to a glass jar 2. Place sample in to jar. Add 2.0 mL of distilled or deionized water. Secure lid on jar as tightly as possible. 3. Place jar with sample into the oven at 55 +/-

Note the presence of water condensate in the neck of the jar, and record the date when the jar was remove
6、s from the oven. 6. Open the jar, remove the sample and immediately reseal the jar if there is a possibility of continuing the test. 7. Blot away condensation on sample being tested with clean absorbent lab tissue or towel. Test according to FLTM BI 106-01 within 30 minutes. 8. Return unfailed sampl
7、es back into their respective jars as soon as possible. Replace lost water via syringe. Hand seal as tightly as possible. 9. Return jars being tested to the oven set for 55 +/- 2 C. Chemicals, materials, parts, and equipment referenced in this document must be used and handled properly. Each party is responsible for determining proper use and handling in its facilities.
