2、ty of the individual components used in the assembly. Apparatus Required Tensile Machine Shall meet the requirements of ASTM D 76. Oven Mechanical convection oven capable of maintaining 102 +/- 3 OC. Fade -0meter Operated as described in SAE J 1885 Fluorescent Sunlamp Cabinet See FLTM BO 11 5-01 for
3、 details of the cabinet. Cold Box Must be capable of being maintained at - 18 +/- 1 OC. W Flex Tester As described in FLTM BN 102-02. Conditioning and Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 OC and 50 +/- 5 % relative

Note: Critical areas are defined as bond lines, embossments, sew lines and formed or shaped areas. Test Procedure “B“ This procedure is used to
6、 evaluate unitized seat cover components under accelerated aging conditions to determine the compatibility of the assembly components. Conditioning of Samples All samples shall be conditioned at 23 +/- 2 OC and 50 +/- 5 % relative humidity for at least 24 h prior to testing. Test Procedure “A“ 1. Cu

Test Procedure “B“ This test is conducted after the assembly has been approved when evaluated by Test
10、Procedure “A“. 1. Cut three test specimens 65 x 80 mm from the bonded seat assembly and subject one specimen to aging test “a“, the second to “b“ and the third to “c“. The samples shall be cut to represent all typical bonded or sewn areas. Aging Test “a“ Age a test specimen for seven days at 102 +/-

Examine the cover stock after the cold flex tests and report any staining, cracking of cover material or other adverse effects as specified by the Engineering material specification. Chemicals, materials, parts, and equipment referenced in this document must be used and handled properly. Each party is responsible for determining proper use and handling in its facilities.
