Conditioning and Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 OC and 50 +/- 5 % relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same co

Place frame top side down on vinyl face of headlining and mark off outside dimensions (long dimension with warp direction). Scribe a guide line for alignment purposes

Align sample on frame, vinyl face up and staple two sides to frame (warp and fill) in a uniform
7、manner. (For perforated headlining, mask off with 1 inch wide tape in area to be stapled.) Stretch the opposite sides until the initial sag reaches .O10 to .O30 inch. Using the guide lines, staple the material evenly without wrinkles. 4. Measure initial sag as follows: Place depth gage across the ce

If initial sag is too great or too low, remove staples and restretch headlining until specified initial sag values are attained. After initial sag is
9、measured, mark off the position of the depth gage on the sides of the material. 5. Frame should be placed flat on the table, vinyl side down, to allow for uniform steam application and to prevent ballooning of the material. Insert steam nozzle in center hole of bottom plate of frame and apply steam

Note: In steaming, extreme care must be exercised to keep steam nozzle from points at a right angle to the headlining to prevent blistering of the material. 6. Immediately after steaming, place frame
11、 in cold box for 1 h at - 20 OF. Remove frame from cold box and place in oven for 1 h at 180 OF. Remove from oven and condition, laying flat with vinyl side up, for 20 h at 70 +/- 2 OF and 65 +/- 2 % relative humidity. 7. Measure the amount of sag as described in Step #4. Subtract initial sag and re

Therefore, to eliminate other unknown factors in the test, it is recommended that the test sample includ
