Muffle Furnace Capable of maintaining a temperature of 1500 +/- 20 F. Crucible Standard porcelain with cover. Desiccator Charged with calcium chloride. Conditio
3、ning and Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions unless otherwise specified. Procedure 1. Fire a crucible
4、and cover in the muffle furnace at 1500 F for 30 minutes, cool in a desiccator and weigh to the nearest 0.1 mg. 2. Weigh a molded part to the nearest 0.1 mg (3 g max) and transfer to the crucible with tweezers. If the part is larger than 3 g, cut off representative pieces to approximately 3 g. 3. Pl

Remove cover after temperature reaches 1500 F. Burn to constant weight. 5.
