Remove the strip using forceps, blot with filter paper, and compare the exposed strip to the ASTM Copper Strip Corrosion Standard. Interpret and report the corrosiveness in accordance with the classifications listed in ASTM D 130. Chemicals, materials, parts, and equipment referenced in this document must be used and handled properly. Each party is responsible for determining proper use and handling in its facilities.
