、s All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/ - 2 C and 50 +/ - 5 % relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions unless otherwise specified. Procedure 1. Prepare panels as described in Table

、1, 2 or 3. 2. Scribe an “X“, with approximately 100 mm legs, through to base metal on the top portion of all prepared panels. 3. Condition panels for 72 h at 23 C, then check coating adhesion before environmental exposure. Evaluate the adhesion by cutting a 25 x 100 mm ribbon along the bottom edge o

、f th e panels. Insert the tip of a squared spatula under the 25 mm sealer edge to provide a grasping tab. Clamp a Hunter Force Gage to the ribbon tab and attempt to peel at a 120 angle. Adhesion shall be determined by pulling tab at a minimum rate to detect sealer adhesive or cohesive failure. 4. Su

After salt spray exposu re, allow the panels to dry at 23 C for 48 h and then re - evaluate adhesion as describe

、d in para 3. Remove the coating from the lower half of the test panels and along the scribed area. Examine for evidence of corrosion and corrosion extension from the s cribe.
