6、d container. 1. Weigh 100 +/- 0.5 g of dry molecular sieve material. Record weight. 2. Stack sieves in order of mesh size with coarsest sieve on top and pan on bottom. 3. Place weighed sample on top sieve (No. 3 1/2). Put cover in place. 4. Place nested sieves in RO-Tap machine and shake for 10 +/-
7、0.3 minutes. 5. Remove the material collected on each sieve and weigh to the nearest 0.1 g. 6. Carefully remove the material collected on the pan and weigh to the nearest mg. 7. Divide weights of each fr action by the original weight and multiply by 100 to obtain percentage. Report each fraction to the nearest 0.1 % except for that collected in the pan which shall be reported to the nearest 0.01 %. Chemicals, materials, parts, and equipment referenced in this document must be used and handled properly. Each party is responsible for determining proper use and handling in its facilities.
