2、 SURFACES Application This method outlines the procedure for coating steel surfaces such as lab-test panels with oil films of reproducible thickness. Apparatus Required Dipping Tank Shall be suitable for immersion of lab-test panels. The tank shall be so designed to expose a minimum of the oil solut

Materials Required Oil Anticorit 4107 S: Source: Fuchs Petrolub AG 68169 Mannheim Friesenheimerstr. 19, Germany Solvent N-Hexan (altern. N-Heptan) CAUTION: low flash

Lint-Free Cloth Conditioning and Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions unless otherwise specified

Check the Oil Coating/Weight as specified by the Engineering Specification. A test panel prepared per para 1 + 2 is weighed on an analytic scale with a precision

If the oil-weight deviates approx. 10% from the specified oil-weight, the panel can be used. FORD LABORATORY TEST METHODBZ 150-11Printed copies are
