44、section retaining rings, (Pages MK-603.-1, MK-603.02, MK-613.01 and MK-613.02) which may be used with the nominal size shafts and bores listed and in grooves of the recommended dimensions listed on the above pages. GENERAL Three types of retaining rings are covered by this specification. They are: T

45、ype SB (3AM1) external retaining rings for shafts Type HB (3BM1) internal retaining rings for bores or housings. Type RB (3CM1) external “E“ type retaining rings for radial installation on shafts. MATERIAL The material used for the subject rings shall be either SAE 1060-1090, JIS G 4401 (Grades SK5,

46、 SK6 and SK7) carbon steel or ESF-M2A66-A beryllium copper as specified on the appropriate parts pages.
