SCOPE This Standard describes graphic prohibitive signs (danger boards) used to indicate that access, entry or starting up/switching on of machinery is prohibited. 2. APPLICATION The sign may be used by itself or in conjunction with an approved lo

2、ck-out device where plant, machinery or equipment is isolated for repairs and where a hazard exists should the equipment be started or otherwise interfered with. Caution: In the case of the metal folding sign, this shall not be used on electrical switching and distribution facilities nor on any lock

Fu?L?JIRmEmS 3.1 Type 1 - Metal Folding Sign UJ-SN002-01) 3.1.1 The plate shall be made of sheet steel to DIN1623, Part 1. 3.1.2 The hinged rod to be C25 x Imn bright rolled steel to DIN7956 or similar.

4、3.1.3 The chain shall be 0.5mn steel or brass to DIN5279 or similar. 3.1.4 The graphic symbol on the front of the sign shall be as shown in the sketch, colour DIN4844. 3.1.5 The reverse of the sign including the spot welded hinge (piano hinge) shall be moss grey W Buff coloured) must always be inser

5、ted behind the plastic flap. For “Production“ activities each supervisor shall insert a self-adhesive identificatior slip (Form 46876; Red coloured) behind the plastic flap. In the case of service personnel, if the workis not finished before shift ends, the Supervi

7、sor must replace the workmans Danger Board with his own. :4) If workmen leave the Plant and fail to remove this sign, the Supervisor is authorised to re- move sign after satisfying him- self it is safeto do so. :5) No person other than the owner OI his Supervisor may remove this sign from any equipm

8、ent. (6) This danger board is for the pro- tection of the user and should be regarded with highest respect. (7) No piece of equipment may be operated under power whilst this sign is attached.
