SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a warp knit polyester face fabric. The material contains 51% PIR/PCR (Post industrial/post consumer) recycled yarn. 2. APP
3、LICATION This specification was released originally for material used as an interior trim fabric for seat bolsters on 2016MY Explorer. The fabric was originally approved as backcoated and laminated with foam. 2.1 LIMITATIONS Everest is to be tested for flammability as a fabric/foam composite not as
4、flat stock. Everest can only be used as a laminated product. Everest must be used with a high FR back coating. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99
5、P1111-A). Materials with recycled content as defined by WRS-M99P42-A2 (Textile Materials, Identification of Recycled Content) should be used whenever technically feasible. 3.1.1 This specification must contain 51% recycled content asdefined by WRS-M99P42-A2. The remaining portion of the material can
6、 come from virgin sources. 3.1.2 In addition to the requirements listed herein, the fabric shall meet all requirements of WSS-M8P18-B1/B2/B3/B4 as applicable. 3.2 FABRIC CONSTRUCTION 3.2.1 Fabric Count, +/- 10 % tolerance (ASTM D3775) Wales 95 / 10 cm Courses 161 / 10 cm 3.2.2 Fabric Weight, + /- 10
