2、1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is dilour, nonwoven carpet of good quality and uniform composition. The carpet face is made with 100% post consumer fiber. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for the Ecosport 2018 MY main floor carpet. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 APP

3、ROVED SOURCES This specification requires the use of approved sources. Only the sources identified on the Ford Approved Source List (ASL) can be used when this specification is listed on the drawing, CAD file, or other documents. The list of approved sources is located within Ford at or available e

4、xternally through a Ford Materials Engineer. 3.2 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONS All test values are based on material conditioned for not less than 24 h prior to testing in a controlled environment of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity. Testing of the material should occur in the condition

5、ing environment or soon after removal. 3.3 PERFORMANCE CRITERIA 3.3.1 In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end-item floor carpet shall be tested to WSS-M8P16-B and any additional SDS requirements. The details for each of the suppliers specific construction shall be documented in the su

6、pplement attached and uploaded into the scanned data package. 3.3.2 Vehicle Interior Environment Quality Materials/Component Performance Requirements Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-D1/ latest. Data must be included at the appropriate progr

7、am milestone. 3.3.3 Recycled Content This specification must contain 100% recycled content as defined by WRS- M99P42-A2 (Textile Materials, Identification of Recycled Content). 3.4 SAMPLE SELECTION ENGINEERING MATERIAL SPECIFICATION WRS-M3H166-A1 Copyright 2016, Ford Global Technologies, Inc. 8、 of 4 All evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finished roll goods prior to any subsequent operations, such as reheating or molding. 3.5 APPEARANCE The color, pattern, and gloss shall match the approved Corporate Design master sample. 3.6 COMPOSITION 3.6.1 Face Fiber Polyester

GENERAL INFORMATION This information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 11、ions. 4.1 DRAWING CALL OUT The following shall be called out on the Engineering drawing to correctly designate the approved material. WRS-M3H166-A1 Supplier Name and Product Code (As it appears on the Approved Source Listing) WSS-M8P16-B 4.2 APPROVAL OF MATERIALS Suppliers desiring approval of their

12、 materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from Purchasing, Design or Product Development, and Materials Engineering. 13、y test reports, signed by a qualified and authorized representative of the test facility, demonstrating full compliance with all the requirements of the Material Specification. Tested material samples must be available for review upon request and kept for a minimum of one year. Upon request, the sup

14、plier will review the associated quality control documents (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Control Plans, Certification testing) with Ford. 4.3 SUPPLIERS ONGOING RESPONSIBILITY All materials must be equivalent in all characteristics to the material upon which approval was originally gran

15、ted. Prior to making any changes to the material originally approved, whether or not such changes affect the materials ability to meet the specification requirements, the supplier shall notify the affected Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), Purchasing, and Materials Engineering activities of the p

16、roposed changes (with reasons) by submission of a completed Suppliers Request for Engineering Approval, SREA. For parts and components using Ford Engineering Material Specifications, all samples tested to the specifications for Design Verification (DV), Production Verification (PV) and Production Pa

17、rt Approval Process (PPAP) sign off must be kept until Job 1. 4.4 RESTRICTED SUBSTANCE MANAGEMENT STANDARD Substance restrictions imposed by regulations or Company direction applies to the materials addressed by this document. The restrictions are identified in the Restricted Substance Management St

18、andard WSS-M99P9999-A1 which is updated yearly. It is the suppliers responsibility to comply with this standard on a continuing basis through IMDS and or GMAP reporting. 5.
