SCOPE The material defined by this specification is NLGI Grade 2 synthetic lubricating grease consisting of a base oil, fluorinated polymer with a fluorescent additive. 2. AP
3、PLICATION This specification was released originally for grease used on RIM polyurethane to eliminate backlight squeaks. The lubricant is suitable for operating temperatures between -40 and + 200 C. Notice: Prior to using this grease in another application, the application must be reviewed and signe
4、d off by B & A Paint Operations for cleanup and paint receptivity, if the potential exists for transfer of the grease by any means to the exterior body. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requ
5、irements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1.1 Initial Qualifications The supplier must furnish to the affected Materials Engineering activity a completed and certified copy of the attached Supplement A and test reports demonstrating the capability of the process for the listed critical p
6、roperties. 3.1.2 Ongoing Verification Plan In addition to the control plan, the supplier and affected Materials Engineering activity shall establish a mutually agreed upon ongoing product verification plan which will be listed on Supplement B. 3.4 CONSISTENCY Material shall be a smooth homogeneous p
7、roduct free from abrasive particles, it shall be consistent in color and texture, and free from objectionable odors during normal storage. It shall be suitable for the intended application. 3.5 FUNCTIONAL APPROVAL Materials being evaluated for initial approval may be subjected to a functional trial.
8、 Functional trial results shall be evaluated by the responsible Systems Engineering and Materials Engineering activities prior to material approval and release. 9、6 LUBRICANT PAINT STAINING When evaluated according to FLTM BJ 126-01, this grease must not stain painted exterior or interior automotive finishes and must not result in softening of more than 0.7 KHN when measured by Tukon Hardness. 5.
