2、RABLE WSB-M3G225-A 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an easy tear tape type with an adhesive on one side. The adhesive must be pressure sensitive over the range of -20 to 90 C. The material must not show any transfer of adhesive upon removal. 2. APPLICATION This specification wa
3、s released originally for material used as a temporary wrapping for wiring harnesses during shipment. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A).
4、 3.4 GREEN STRENGTH The tape shall develop sufficient adhesion to permit normal handling immediately after application. 3.5 TAPE TEAR PROPERTIES The tape shall be hand tearable, and when torn crosswise by hand shall tear in a smooth and even manner. 3.6 PREPARATION OF TEST SPECIMENS The tape shall b
5、e tested on actual wire strands clustered together and wrapped. Wrap the tape around a 400 to 600 mm length of wire bundle containing (6 or 8 individual wires) overlapping the first layer when wrapping. Samples shall be conditioned for 48 h at 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity prior to expo
6、sure. Tests shall be completed within 4 h after removal from the conditioning environment. 3.7 RESISTANCE PROPERTIES After each of the following exposures, the tape must not show evidence of delamination or loss of adhesion. No adhesive residue when the tape is removed from the wrapped cluster stran

Functional trial results must be approved b
11、y the affected assembly operation and Design Engineering. Results shall be made available to Materials Engineering prior to material approval and release. 5.
