SCOPE The material defined by these specif
3、ications is a calendered polyvinyl chloride copolymer film laminated to a nonwoven polyester fabric. In specifications WSD-M2F172-B/C/D, the vinyl coated fabric (WSD-M2F172-A) is flame laminated to polyether foam and a knitted backing scrim. 2. APPLICATION These specifications were released original
4、ly for material used in interior trim as a covering for automotive seat backs. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, this material shall meet all requirements of the WSB-M8P3-C, PERFORMANCE, FLEXIBLE POLYMERIC FILM, INTERIOR QUALITY material performance specification. 3.0 ST
5、ANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 REINFORCING FABRIC* 3.4.1 Composition 100% Polyester (ASTM D 629) 3.4.2 Construction The fabric is a good quality non-w

12、N/50 mm 3.6.7 Crease Test, WMD and AMD Must pass Form C Test Method Apparatus The forms are molded from clear acrylic sheeting as per fig. 1. Form A has a radius r = 100 mm Form B has a radius r = 75 mm Form C has a radius r - 50 mm Form D has a radius r = 30 mm Procedure: Cut 3 test specimens, appr
13、oximately 200 - 250 mm x 75 mm with the longer dimension parallel to the roll direction and also 3 specimens across the roll direction. It is important that both the original sample and the individual test specimens are not folded or creased prior to testing. Bend the test specimen, without undue te
14、nsion or pressure around form A with the face side to the clear acrylic form. Inspect the specimen through the acrylic sheet for evidence of creasing or collapse of the laminate foam. If the specimen is acceptable on form A repeat the test on form B then C, or until evidence of creasing occurs. Report the identification letter of the test form with the smallest radius on which the majority of test specimens pass.
