2、ORMANCE, UNDERBODY WSK-M2P155-A NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE This specification defines the performance requirements of a painted finish for automotive and commercial vehicle underbodies. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally to provide a finish where adequate corrosion
3、 protection and chipping resistance is required. It is specified on underneath areas of underbody, fenders, wheelhouses and reinforcing boxes etc., but for the latter only in regard to the salt fog resistance. The following requirements shall be tested on complete light coloured bodies in accordance
4、 with Engineering Drawings released for the respective models. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STATISTICAL PROCESS Suppliers must conform to the requirements of Ford Quality System Standard Q-101. A mutually acceptable Control Plan as described therein is required for material/source approval. Appropriate stati
5、stical tools must be used to analyze process/product data so that variation in the final product is continuously reduced. 3.2 CONDITIONING All parts shall be aged for 72 h at 23 +/- 2 C or 16 h at 43 +/- 2 C before testing for resistance properties unless otherwise specified. 3.3 SYSTEM COMPONENTS T
