SCOPEThe materials defined by these specifications are deaden er sheetings of lowdensity, based on bitumen

APPLICATIONThese specifications were released originally for materi al for heat bondingto electrocoated vertical floor panels (e.g.cardan tunne l) in the passengerco mpartment during spray primer oven exposure. WSK-M5G38-C2/C3/C

4、4 are ofextremely low density.3. REQUIREMENTS3.1 STATISTICAL PROCESSSupplie rs must conform to the requirements of Ford Quality SystemStand ard Q-101. A mutually acceptable Control Plan as describedtherein is required for material/source approval. Appropriatestatist ical tools must be used to analyz

5、e process/product data sothat variation in the final product is continuously reduced.3.2 INFRARED SPECTROPHOTOMETRY AND/OR THERMAL ANALYSISFord Motor Company, at its option, may conduct infrared and/ortherma l analysis of material/parts supplied to this specification.The IR spectra and thermograms e

6、stablished for i nitial approval shallconst itute the reference standard and shall be kept on file at thedesignated material laboratory. 15、ns of 100 x 100 mm from test material anddetermine weight and thickness per specimen.- Ply up and cover with an alumini um plate of the same size.- Load with a dead weight equallin g a plied up height of 600mm minus the weight of 5 specimens and cover.- Expose test assembly in a convec tion oven mai

16、ntained at 35+/- 2 C for two weeks. Cool to 23 +/- 2 C, remove weightand cover plate and examine as described above.3.7 RESISTANCE PROPERTIES3.7.1 Adhesion After CuringNo s agging of test material, no blisters or cracks aftercurin g. The material must not be peeled off from thesubstrate without bein

20、tion, color, processing or labeling of the materialorig inally approved under this specification, whether or not suchchange s affect the materials ability to meet the specificationrequir ements, the Supplier shall notify Purchasing, Toxicology andthe affected Materials Engineering activity of the pr

21、oposed changesand obtain the written approval of the Materials Engineeringactivity. Test data, test samples and a new code identification areto be submitted with the request.Substance restrictions imposed by law, regulations or Ford, apply tothe materials addressed by this document. The restrictions

22、 aredefined in Engineering Material Specification W SS-M99P9999-A1, unlessa different suffix (e.g., A2 or A3) is specified on the engineeringdocument for the application.4. APPROVAL OF MATERIALSMate rials defined by this specification must have prior approval by therespo nsible Materials Engineering

23、 activity. Suppliers desiring approvalof their materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from theaffect ed Purchasing, Design and Materials Engineering activity. Uponrequest, the Supplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engineeringactivity a completed copy of their laboratory tes

24、t reports, signed by aqualified and authorized representative of the test faci lity, demonstratingfull compliance with all the requirements of this specification (testresults, not nominal values), the material designation a nd code number, andtest specimens for Ford evaluation. Fords engineering app

25、roval of amateri al will be based on its performance to this specification and on anassessment of suitability for i ntended processes and/or applications.
