REQUIREMENTS:3.1 STATISTICAL PROCESSSuppliers must conform to the requirements of Ford Quality SystemStandard Q-101. A mutually acceptable Control Plan as describedtherein is

Appropriatestatistical tools must be used to analyze process/product data sothat variation in the final product is continuously reduced.3.2 INFRARED SPECTROPHOTOMETRY AND/OR THERMAL ANALYSISFord Motor Company, at its option, may conduct infrared and/orthermal

4、analysis of material/parts supplied to this specification.The IR spectra and thermograms established for initial approvalshall constitute the reference standard and shall be kept on fileat the designated material laboratory. All samples shall produceIR spectra and thermograms that correspond to the

5、referencestandard when tested under the same conditions.3.3 DYNAMIC MECHANICAL ANALYSIS(ASTM D 4065)Ford Motor Company, at its option, may establish a shearmodulus/damping vs. temperature curves plotted for -50 to +150 Ctemperature range for material/parts supplied to thisspecification. The shear mo

6、dulus and damping curves establishedfor initial approval shall constitute the reference standard andshall be kept on file at the designated material laboratory. Allsamples shall produce shear modulus and damping curves thatcorrespond to the reference standard when tested under the sameconditions.3.4

7、 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONSAll test values indicated herein are based on material conditionedin a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relativehumidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested underthe same conditions unless otherwise specified.ENGINEERING MATERIAL SPEC

9、 following tests where possible, shall be performed on finished hosesand/or test specimens cut from them in accordance with ASTM D 3183(cutting knife procedure preferred). Greater variation in test valuescan be anticipated when evaluating materials that are thinner thenrecommended by an applicable I
