SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a fluoroelastomer compound having good compression set resistance and tear resistance and is easily compressible for installation. The materia

3、l is designed for static applications where extrusion is not a problem. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as an O-Ring for transmission torque converter applications. The material is capable of withstanding a -40 C to 160 C temperature range in a static oil

4、soaked environment. This material can possibly be used in a reciprocating, oil soaked environment at -40 C to 160 C if proper design procedures are followed. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard

5、 Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 MATERIAL TESTING 3.4.1 Preparation of Test Specimens Whenever possible, all test specimens shall be die-cut from the finished parts. When not feasible, specimens cut from molded test sheets manufactured from the same material and with equi

6、valent cure to molded parts are recommended.
