The material is hot forged and then heat treated. 2. APPLICATION These specifications were originally releas

3、ed for the manufacture of scrolls in an A/C compressor produced by the hot forging process. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 CHEMI

The mechanical properties shall be determined after heat treatment. The frequency and detail of mechanical testing will form part of the agreed Control Pl

8、an. 3.4.3 Hardness (unless otherwise stated on Engineering drawing) (ISO 6508/ASTM E 18) Hardness, min HRB 70 min 75 +/- 7.5 (as heat treated) 3.5 HEAT TREATMENT Components will be subjected to heat treatment to achieve the required mechanical properties. The heat treatment shall include a solution

9、heat treatment at 495 +/- 5 C for 20 minute min, followed by water quenching and aging treatment at 200 +/- 5 C for 1 - 1.5 hours. Treatment parameters shall form part of the agreed Control Plan for the individual component. 5. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.1 PHYSICAL PROPERTIES 5.1.1 Density - 2.72 g/cc at 20 C. 5.1.2 Modules of Elasticity = 79,000 MPa at 20 C. 5.1.3 Coefficient of Thermal Expansion = 20.0 x (10x6)/K (at 20 - 150 C)
