2、A2 COMPRESSION STRESS RELAXATION RESISTANT 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a glycol-based silicone rubber compound with good resistance to engine oil. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as an intercooler gasket at temperatures up to pea

3、k temperatures of 210 C. The material has excellent resistance to compressive stress relaxation at temperatures up to 175 C. The material also has excellent resistance to splitting or bursting under combined conditions of compressive strains up to 60% and temperature up to 210 C. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0

4、 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 MATERIAL TESTING 3.4.1 Preparation of Test Specimens Whenever possible, all test specimens shall be die cut from fin

5、ished parts. When not feasible, specimens cut from molded test sheets manufactured from the same material and with equivalent cure to molded parts are recommended. The test sheets shall have the following dimensions: 150 x 150 mm, min 2.0 +/- 0.2 mm 3.5 ORIGINAL PROPERTIES 3.5.1 Hardness, Internatio
