SCOPE The materi

3、al defined by these specifications is a hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) suitable for high temperature use, possessing good resistance to refrigerant HFC-134A and polyalkylene glycol lubricants. 2. APPLICATION These specifications were released originally for material used for o-rings us

4、ed on the spring-lock quick-connect and P-nut couplings in the air conditioning system. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 MATERIAL

5、TESTING 3.4.1 Preparation of Test Specimens All test specimens shall be die-cut from molded test sheets manufactured from the same material and with equivalent cure to molded parts. Place two o-rings on a 25 x 50 x 12 mm AA 3003 aluminum plate. Compress the o-rings 20% between two alumin

22、um plates and test to FLTM BQ 104-02 humidity aging for 720 hours. After aging, remove the o-rings from the plates and check the surface of the aluminum plates for any evidence of corrosion where the o-rings were placed.
