SCOPE The material defined by these specifications is an expanded

3、 polyvinyl chloride film laminated to a knitted polyester fabric. These materials can be used laminated with foam and/or a backing fabric/scrim, based on the application. 2. APPLICATION WSS-M2F186-A1 was released originally for material used in interior trim as a covering for seat applications in pa

4、ssenger vehicles. WSS-M2F186-A2 was released originally for interior applications such as door inserts, head rest, arm rest, seat side facings that require an anti-squeak finish. WSS-M2F186-A3 was released originally for commercial vehicle seating applications that require high resistance to abrasio

5、n. Any other application must be evaluated and approved by a Design Engineer and a Materials Engineer. 2.1 LIMITATIONS NA applications Only for side facing and seat backs applications for B, C, and CD vehicles. Use of these materials on any other seat must be evaluated and approved by Seat Engineeri

6、ng and Materials Engineering. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, this material shall meet the specification requirements of WSS-M8P3-E1/E3 or latest, Performance, Flexible Polymeric Film, Interior Quality. Laminated materials must meet the lamination requirements per WSS-

7、M8P3-E3 or latest. For WSS-M2F186-A2, the material when built up into an assembly in the intended vehicle shall show no evidence of squeaking on drive appraisal. Anti squeak properties to be evaluated per application by the Product Engineer and/or NVH Department. Antisqueak properties of the materia

8、l must be also reviewed by regional Materials Engineering and documented on Approved Source List. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements for Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A) ENGINEERING MATERIAL
