SCOPE The material defined by this specif
2、ication is designed to deoxidize aluminum substrates in preparation for pretreatment prior to subsequent adhesive bonding applications. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for a liquid, chrome-free, iron-free deoxidizer / desmutter for both sheet and wrought aluminum alloys. It
3、 is used in combination with sulfuric, nitric, hydrofluoric acids or mixtures of these acids at ambient temperatures. It can be applied using both spray and immersion methods. 2.1 LIMITATIONS The material approved to this specification is intended to be used as part of a system with materials approv
4、ed to specifications WSS-M3B83-A2/A3/A4 resulting in a pretreated substrate that is compliant to the performance requirements defined per WSS-M10P12-B2. 3.
