SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a mineral and glass filled thermosetting compression molding compound based on two-stage phenolic resin. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released origina

3、lly for material used for thrust washers and composite reactors used in automatic transmission torque converters. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-

4、M99P1111-A). 3.4 MOLDING COMPOUND 3.4.1 Filler Content (s) 3.4.1.1 Ash Content 58 - 63% (ISO 3451/1, Method A, 1 h at 650 +/- 25 C) 3.4.1.2 Glass Fiber Content, by Weight 33 - 38% Test Method: Since the glass content cannot be separated from the total Ash Content. The raw material suppliers Control

5、Plan must be reviewed to ensure that the proper amount of glass is adequately controlled during processing. 3.5 MOLDED TEST SPECIMEN 3.5.1 Preparation of Test Specimens Unless otherwise specified all tests shall be carried out on compression molded test specimens. The following dimensions are requir
