、M3H137-B2 BARRIER MATERIAL, 474 g/m NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The materials defined by this specification are bulked continuous filament (BCF) nylon, cut pile carpets, tufted into a synthetic primary foundation. It is then precoated and laminated to a filled, post industrial thermoplast
、ic barrier material for improved rigidity and acoustical properties. This carpet is piece dyed. 2. APPLICATION This material was released originally for carpets used for floor mat applications as part of the Carpet Construction Strategy. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein,
、 the end-item carpet assembly (molded or otherwise fabricated) shall meet all requirements of the WSS-M15P44-A performance specification for floor mat applications. This carpet meets the Resistance to Abrasion requirement of 4,000 cycles per WSS-M15P44-A para. 3.11.2. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR P
、RODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 SAMPLE SELECTION All evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finished roll goods prior to any subsequent operations, such as
、 reheating or molding. 3.3 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved Design Center master sample, or shall be as specified on the engineering drawing. 3.4 COMPOSITION (ASTM D 276) Pile Yarn Nylon Primary Foundation Material 100% polyester Pre-coat PE Back co
