APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as initial fill fuel for vehicles designed to operate on gasoline in Venezuela. Additives are present to protect the fuel system. This material is not speci
3、fically intended for use in certification testing, mileage accumulation or general fueling. 3. 10、mmercial additives at concentrations representative of good commercial practice in the receiving locale (unless otherwise specified). Metallic additives, including lead, manganese and phosphorus are not allowed. 3.13 CERTIFICATION Supplier shall certify that the gasoline is a formula that has been t
11、ested and meets Ford Motor Company requirements as stated in these specifications. Technical evidence of these data and manufacturing limits must be tabulated on the attached form. This certification shall be by the suppliers director of research or other authorized official and submitted to the res
12、ponsible Ford purchasing activity. This information will then be forwarded to the Materials Activity of the Engine Product Engineering Office or to the product engineering office responsible for source approval. 4. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and ass
13、istance in meeting the requirements of this specification. Contact for questions concerning Engineering Material Specifications. 4.1 FLAMMABILITY This material represents a potential fire hazard. The Manufacturing Engineering Department or other responsible activity shall notify both the Security a
14、nd Safety Units of its presence to assure that proper fire precautions are provided. The location in which it is used or stored shall be included in the notifications. 4.2 SAMPLING AND SUBMISSION OF SAMPLES (ISO 3170 / 3171, ASTM D4057 / D4177) Quality control records must be made available to Fuels
