SCOPE The materials defin
3、ed by this specification are a formed assembly consisting of a cross-linked polyolefin foam bonded to a TPO cover material. This laminate is either negatively vacuum formed for typical in-mold-grain process or positively vacuum formed and then adhesively bonded to a rigid substrate. 2. APPLICATION T
4、his specification was released originally for material used in interior trim applications, such as the CD391 door trim or for Instrument Panel applications utilizing the IMGL process. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must confor
5、m to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1.1 Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-C1/Latest, Performance, Vehicle Interior Environment Quality Material/Component Requirements. Data must be included in
6、material submission package. 3.1.2 Performance Criteria: Parts using this specification shall meet the appropriate performance specification WSS-M15P45-B and the Craftsmanship compression/deflection criteria per the appropriate ARL: 17-0209 for door and console armrests, 17-0220 for door upper roll,
7、 and 17-0229 for IP upper. 3.2 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern, gloss level and finish shall match the approved Corporate Design master sample, or shall be as specified on the engineering document.
