、RING, WSS-M9P13-A1 GRAINED, SHAPED, MOLDED/NON-MOLDED 1. SCOPE The specification defines the standard requirements for a good quality elastomeric all weather floor, which meets the minimum durability and performance requirements. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material
、 used as floor covering in trucks, vans and/or as specified on the engineering drawing. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 APPROVED SOURCES This specification is performance based and does not have approved sources. 3.2 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONS All test values are based on material conditioned for not less
、 than 24 h prior to testing in a controlled environment of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity. Testing of the material should occur in the conditioning environment or soon after removal. 3.3 PERFORMANCE CRITERIA 3.3.1 In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end item floor assembly
、 shall meet all requirements in the material specification WSS-M99D63-B1 and all component level requirements. The details for each of the suppliers specific material and approval data shall be documented and uploaded into the scanned data package. 3.3.2 See Tables 1 and 2 for sample size and testin
、g requirements. 3.4 APPEARANCE PROPERTIES 3.4.1 Appearance The color, pattern, and gloss shall match the approved Design Center master. 3.4.2 Surface Condition The surface shall not be tacky to foreign material. Dirt and dust shall be capable of removal with soap and water. 3.5 PHYSICAL PROPERTIES 3

See Figure 4 for unacceptable test specimen. 3.5.3 Poke Testing 100 N min Test Method: 1) Cut five 150 mm by 150 mm samp
、les from the footwell area. Remove all insulator from backing. 2) Mount sample on a 150 mm by 150 mm platform with a 24 mm diameter hole at the center. 3) Clamp sample down using a 150 mm by 150 mm square retainer with a 24 mm diameter hole at the center. 4) Using an Instron, penetrate sample with a
、 6 mm diameter flat-headed pin at a standard speed of 25 mm/min (1 in/min). Use a locator to ensure the pin is centered over the 24 mm hole. 5) Measure load when sample is penetrated, i.e. the pin goes completely through the sample. See Figures 5, 6, and 7 for test apparatus. 3.6 ENVIRONMENTAL TESTI
