10、rd: DIN 2391, part 2,7.1981 1 Material Steel pipes to these technical delivery condiions are manufactured from the unalloyed and low-alloyed steels, mentioned in clause 6.1. The melting process, as well as the method of casting, are left to the manufacturer. In special cases, however, such details m
11、ay be agreed upon on the order (see material release). 2 Manufacturing Process The seamless steel pipes shall be manufactured from hot or cold roiled pipes by cold drawing or cold roiling. 3 Condition of Delivery and Designation Condition of delivery 3.1 Bright Drawn - Hard (BK)* (cold finished) The
12、re is no heat treatment after final cold drawing. Thus the pipes have only small capacity for deformation. They cannot be bent, flared or expanded etc. 3.2 Bright Drawn - Soft (BKW)* (lightly cold finished) After cold drawing the pipes are annealed or normalized, then lightly drawn (cold drawn). Opt
13、ionally, the pipes may be stress relieved after cold drawing. The pipes can be cold formed within certain limits with appropriate treatment (bending, flaring, expanding etc). * The data in brackets are abbreviated tens for conditions of delivery to DIN 2391, part 2. The nitrogen content shall not, however, exceed 0,014 % by mass. 6.1.4 Elements not listed i
25、n clause 6.1 .I shall not be added intentionally to the steel apart from those used for the final treatments of the melt prior to casting, without the agreement of the Opel PEK Material Development and Testing or Quality Assurance Departments. 38、or surfaces in accordance with one of the manufacturing methods. Insignficant surface defects, e. g. scars, pits and longitudinal grooves are permfssible. Peeling, overlaps, cracks and lamination are not allowed. Any possible operation to eliminate surface defects must not reduce the wall thickness
39、below the minimum value specified. 6.5.2 As a result of processing, residues can occur on the surfaces. Cold finished pipes in delivery condition QS NH and QS NM have, in general, an adhesive coating of lubricant on the inner and outer surfaces, which originates from cold drawing. Pipes of delivery
40、condition QS NO and QS NM, finally heat treated may have discolourations but must be free from loose scale. 7 Additional Requirements Deviations from the requirements specified in these technical delivery conditions or additional requirements shall have been agreed upon. These shall be indicated on
