14、 and record the reading to the second decimal place. 3.2.1.4 Expose the specimen to 23 E 5K 60%R.H, for 2 weeks to harden. 3.2.1.5 Take the specimen out and weigh it. 3.2.1.6 According the formula in EDS-T-7902-20, calculate ash content. 3.2.2 Shear Strength. 3.2.2.1 The pre-treatment and size of th

15、e test piece and test method shall conform to EDS-T-7902-4. 3.2.2.2 Apply the adhesive to an area of (25 12.7) mm and thickness 1 mm and subsequently harden it under conditions in clause 3.2.1.4. 3.2.2.3 The tensile speed shall be 50 mm/min. 3.2.3 Tensile Strength / Elongation at Break. 3.2.3.1 Afte

16、r dipping the release paper in water for 10 minutes, clean up moisture from the surface. 3.2.3.2 Spread the release paper in clause 3.2.3.1 on the painted steel sheet and carefully apply adhesive so as not to create bubbles. 3.2.3.3 Put another piece of release paper in clause 3.2.3.1 onto it and pl

17、ace the painted steel sheet and then press it with UTM so that thickness of 3 3.5 mm is maintained. 3.2.3.4 After hardening under 23 E 5K 60%R.H for 1 week, remove the release paper and harden it again for an additional week. If the test piece size is too large, cut it into several pieces and harden

18、 them. 3.2.3.5 With a test piece prepared as above, make a dumbbell-type test piece to EDS-T-7408-S1. 3.2.3.6 With the tensile speed set to 50 mm/min, measure the tensile strength / elongation at break. 3.2.4 Heat Resistance. After exposing the tensile strength / elongation at break test piece in cl

19、ause 3.2.3 to 175 E 168 hours, measure the tensile strength and elongation at break again as in clause 3.2.3 and compare the results with the initial tensile strength and elongation at break to calculate the change rate. 3.2.5 Engine Oil Resistance. After dipping the tensile strength / elongation at

All materials must satisfy applicable laws, rules, regulations and recommendations valid in the country of usage. 5.2 Language. In the event of conflict between the

28、Korean and English language, the Korean language shall take precedence. 5.3 Inspection and Rejection. Samples of components or materials released to a GM material specification shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this material specification and approved by the responsible Enginee

29、ring department prior to commencement of delivery of bulk supplies. A new approval must be received for any changes, e.g., properties, manufacturing process, location of manufacture, etc. If not otherwise agreed, all testing and documentation normally required for initial release must be completed.

30、It is the responsibility of the supplier to inform the customer in a timely manner, without solicitation, and to include documentation of all modifications of materials and/or processes and to apply for a new release. If not otherwise agreed, all release tests shall be repeated and documented by the

31、 supplier prior to commencement of delivery of non-conforming bulk supplies. In individual cases, a shorter test can be agreed to between the responsible Engineering department and the supplier. 5.4 Initial Source Approval. No shipments shall be made by any supplier until representative initial prod

32、uction samples have been approved by the appropriate Materials Engineering department(s) as meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.5 Material Safety Data Sheets/Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS). For new product submissions, or when a change in chemical composition of an existing product has

33、occurred, a complete copy of the Material Safety Data Sheet/Safety Data Sheet must be submitted in compliance with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) requirements or other country-specific MSDS/SDS requirements. In addition, product MSDS/SDS submissions
