3、 for all future projects and replaced by GMW14540. 1. PURPOSE The purpose of this standard is to examine the damping force characteristics of hydraulic shock absorber at low temperature. 2. EQUIPMENT 2.1. Vibrator: The device which vibrates, fixing the upper end part of shock absorber and varying th
4、e speed of the lower end part according to test conditions. 2.2. Force measuring device: The device outfitted with the meters for stroke and speed (pistion speed) and capable of measuring and recording the damping force at the stroke and the speed. 2.3. Temperature measuring device 2.4. Cold chamber
5、 with a capacity of -50 3. TEST CONDITIONS 3.1. Test temperature t1 = 222K t2 = -302K Test speeds 25, 50, 100 rpm t3 = t1 3.2. In case of the test at t2, cool the test sample to t2 by allowing it to soak in the cold chamber at -405K for 16 hours min., and then perform the test. 3.3. In case of the t
6、est at t3, heat the test sample to t3 by allowing it to be kept at room temperature for 16 hours min. and then perform the test. 3.4. Temperature measuring point shall be the bottom in case of twin tube type and the center of outer tube in case of single tube type. 3.5. Prepare at least 6 test sampl
7、es. 4. TEST PERFORMANCE 4.1. Test the test sample according to 3.1 at t = t1. 8、cording to 3.3, stored in vertical position. 4.3. Test the test sample according to 3.1 at t = t2. 4.4. Heat the test sample according to 3.4. 4.5. Test the test sample according to 3.1 at t = t3. 4.6. Compare the measured damping forces at each temperature. 4.7. Determine the damping force decrease
9、. 5. LIMITING VALUES 5.1. Damping forces at low temperature (t = t2) shall not exceed 400% of the damping forces at room temperature (t = t1). 5.2. The lag of damping force at low temperature (t = t2) shall be 25% max. of test stroke. 5.3. The others see the DWG. 6.
