It is Superceded for all future projects and replaced by GMW3136. 1. PURPOSE This stan
、dard specifies to examine whether exposure of the laminated glass to the solar radiation over an extended period of time produces any appreciable change in color, bubbles and turbidity. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to the safety glass (laminated glass with a high molecular film) for the front glas
、s of automobiles 3. EQUIPMENT 3.1. The source of electric power : 220V 3.2. Ultraviolet Light Radiation : Ultraviolet radiation lamp (75050W) 3.3. Visible light transmission measuring apparatus (Haze Meter) 4. TEST PIECE (SPECIMENS) Flat laminated glass of about 300300mm, or about 30076mm manufactur
、ed under the same conditions as those for the product, or test pieces of about 300300mm, or about 30076mm cut from the laminated glass product shall be subjected to the test. In the case of windscreens, the test piece shall be cut from the test area of a product, or from the part of laminated glass
、which conforms to the same specifications as those of the product in terms of the test area. Laminated glass made of the material which has, in advance, been cut into the specified size of the specimen may be subjected to the test. 5. PROCEDURE 5.1. Measure the visible light transmission of the spec
、imen before exposure to ultraviolet light. 5.2. Place the specimen in the apparatus keeping 455 at a distance of 230mm from the light source so that its outer side, if mounted to the real vehicle, faces the light source side. 5.3. Expose the specimen to the ultraviolet light for 100 hours. 5.4. Meas
、ure the visible light transmission of the specimen after exposure to ultravioletlight. 5.5. Examine visually the change in color, bubbles and turbidity of the specimen afterexposure to the ultraviolet light. 9、995. 01. 06 REVISED DATE: 2008. 10. 23 VERSION: 4 GM DAEWOO Auto & Technology 6. CONDITION OF TEST 6.1. Three specimens shall be tested by the high temperature test, and all the specimens shall satisfy the requirements specified in Table 1. If one or no specimen satisfies the requirements, the resul
、ts of the test shall be rejected. If two specimens satisfy the requirements, further three specimens shall newly be re-tested. And if all the new specimens satisfy the requirements given in Table 1, the safety glass shall be acceptable. 6.2. Result of test Type Condition after irradiation by ultravi
