It is Superceded for all future projects and replaced by GMW14337 1. PURPOSE This standard aims evaluation of jack feat

3、ures, load-carrying capacity and durability features, under static stress. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to the joint wagon jack (For LEMANS & ESPERO) 3. TEST PIECES 3.1. The jack assembly is tested according to the drawing specification. 3.2. Number of test pieces 3.2.1. Static stress test : Min.

4、2. 3.2.2. Durability test : Min. 2. 4. APPARATUS 4.1. Static stress test. 4.1.1. U. T. M. (Universal Test Machine). (1) The test machine which shall be so equipped that the test pieces can be stressed with a uniform loading speed of 10 mm/min max. (2) The maximum test force can be stressed according

5、 to the drawing specification. (3) Accuracy of the force measuring : 1% of measured value. (4) Accuracy of the displacement measuring : 0.25mm 4.1.2. X-Y recorder , which plots the force-deflection variation characteristics of the test pieces. 4.1.3. Jig ASM., which mounted the jack corresponding to

8、ess test 5.1.1. Test arrangements In order to come as near as possible to the reality facts on the vehicle at the test, following JIG ASM have been approved. a = 520mm X = Variable (= 100mm) F = Applied force SM= Direction of applied force Y = Height of lifting (= 250mm) Q = Test force Z = Ground cl

9、earance dimension of swivel arm (Results from the requirement that the supporter must be inclined by 10opposite to the horizontal) 5.1.2. Procedure (1) The test is performed at +15 to +35 (2) Calibrate testing machine and measuring instrument (U. T. M and X-Y recorder) (3) Adjusting of the heights o

10、f lift The jack is set up on the ground larger part of base plate and supporter of jack is inserted into the lever arm of test apparatus. Jack is brought up so far as height of lift “y“ (=250mm, see component drawings). After reaching the lift height “y“, the dimension of ground clearance of the swi

(4) The jack is stressed with the test force(Q) with a test speed of max. 100mm/min and released again after reaching the test for

13、ce(Q). The test force(Q) is determined as follows : * NOMINAL FORCE (N) - MAX. SUPPORT FORCE (N) - 25% * TEST FORCE (Q) - NOMINAL FORCE +50% Support force that indicated on the drawing is 7800N, therfore according to above equation * NOMINAL FORCE (N) - 5850N * TEST FORCE (Q) - 8775N At the test arr

14、angements (refer to clause 5.1.1) the test force (Q) is applied by the force (F). Because the point of application of the force F. works displaced by the lever arm “X“ opposite to the test force (Q), following equation results for the calculation of the force F. * From the the test arrangements a=52

15、0mm, X=100mm APPLIED FORCE (F) = 10463N (5) Total permanent setting amount is taken from the plotted force-deflection diagram at F/2. 5.1.3. Evaluation The total setting amount of jack is defermined from the force deflection diagram as follows. The curve path shows the course of the force-deflection

16、 vartation curve of jack which was stressed with the calculated force F. At a continuous force F/2 the total permanent setting amount SMbl is taken from the plotted force -deflection diagram with this, read value the total permanent setting amount of the jack is calculated according to following equ

Test arrangenents This test is performed on the vehicle condition or as near as possible to the same condition with the vehicle following test rig have been approved 5.2.2. Procedure (1) Load the jack with the nomin

19、al force (5850N) * NOMINAL FORCE - MAX. SUPPORTING FORCE (N) - 25% (Supporting force is indicated on the drawing : 7800N) (2) Raise the jack to its height position and apply the nominal force and operate it over the lifting range for a total of 50 applications. (3) The lifting range is 2/3 of the ex

20、tended length (=365mm) on the drawing. (Lifting speed ,1

21、5050 mm/min) (5) Measure the max. operating force at the beginning of the test and for every 10thlift of the 50 lifts and record on data sheet appendix.
