3、spec. defines the general test conditions for contact machanism for flat condutor contacting (called shortly “contact“ in the following). Test specifications, material spec.s, form, dimension and surface treatment to be applied are to be noted from the drawing. 2. TEST QUANTITY For sampling, respect
4、ively 20 contacts are to be tested, which should be fixed preferably to leads corresponding to the usage in the car. The quantity of test sample for the quality check is defined by the input inspection. 3. NOTE Samples of materials released to this specification shall be tested for conformity with t
5、he requirements of this spec. and approved by Product Engineering Department prior to commencement of delivery of bulk supplies. In the event of any intentional deviations from the requirements of this spec., it is the sole responsibility of the supplier to inform the purchaser of all such deviation
6、s. Furthermore the supplier shall submit unsolicited samples for reapproval by Product Engineering Department prior to commencement of delivery of deviant bulk supplies. 4. APPLICATION OF CONTACTS The contacts serve for the direct, one - sided contracting of flexible and rigid flat conductor rails i
7、n the raster size of 5.72 mm. 5. DELIVERY STATE The contacts are fixed on the cable and supplied with plug housings which are mounted or loose, belonging them for sampling. Parts with smooth surface, free of burr, without cracks, folds or grooves. The posting of the contacts to the conductor results
8、 with special pin stenters or hand pliers. The traction relief must firmly encircle the lead. Extracting force contact / housing The force to be spended for the extraction of the contact from the housing must come to min. 45 N. 6.2. Extracting force of the fixed conductor from the crimp connection The Withdrawing force of
10、 the fixed conductor from the crimp connection of the contact is determined by a tension test by means of tensile - testing machine with a grip speed of 100 mm/min. For the determining of the withdrawing force, the fitting plates for the wire insulating must be loosened. Withdrawing forces of the cr
11、imp connections. 6.3. Initial stress of spring of the contact For the perfect contacting, the contact spring of the contact must be prestressed by 0.8 mm min. in the insterted state. The maximal permissible initial stress comes to 1.2 mm. 6.4. Range of wire strength The maximal permissible cross sec
12、tion of wire which is fixable to the contact comes to 1 mm2. 6.5. Housing for manifold plug connection The manifold plug housing must lock in the full - inserted state. Voltage drop between lead and contact The voltage drop between lead and contact is to be determined at 2 A stress and tr = +23 5K.(S. Fig.) Permissible drop in voltage : 7 V. 8.3. Electric loading capacity Th
17、e electric loading capacity of a contact depends in essence on the width and the heat - abstracting capacity of the contact on the flat conductor rail. The stress is thus correspondingly to be measured. The width of conductor rail must be so selected that a current density of 35 A/mm2is not exceeded under workable continuous load.
