3、ake right evaluation of loudspeakers applied to automobiles manufactured by GMDAT (GM Daewoo Auto & Technology). 2. SCOPE This standard specifies all loudspeakers applied to automobiles by GMDAT. 3. DEFINITION 3.1. Loudspeaker The loudspeaker refers to all loudspeakers of chassis type and box type f
4、or automobiles used by GMDAT, which comprise woofers, mid-range loudspeakers and tweeters and also include a combination of them for specific purpose. 3.2. Anechoic chamber (Test space) Test space shall be more than 64m3, and deviation of characteristics of sound pressure attenuation shall not be mo
5、re than 1dB at the free sound field of anechoic chamber. 3.3. Test frequency The test frequency refers to measuring frequency specified in test standards or drawings used for performance tests of loudspeakers. 4. TEST CONDITIONS 4.1. Standard atmospheric conditions for testing Unless otherwise speci
6、fied, the test shall be performed at room temperature and humidity specified in KS A 0006 (Standard Atmospheric Conditions for Testing). 5. THE NUMBER OF TEST SAMPLES Unless otherwise specified, DVP and PVP 15 test samples shall be tested. 6. MEASURING INSTRUMENTS AND APPARATUS FOR TESTING 6.1. Gene
7、ral requirement For the measuring instruments and apparatus for testing, the ones calibrated by the national calibration institute and within the period of validity shall be used in principle. 8、: 6 GM DAEWOO Auto & Technology 6.2. Frequency generator A sine-wave generator capable of generating audio frequency band of 10 Hz to 20 KHz. 6.3. Noise generator White and pink noise generator capable of generating audio frequency band of 20 Hz to 20 KHz. 6.4. Thermostatic container A container cap
9、able of keeping the temperature of -60 to +125 with an accuracy of +2.0 per temperature and capacity of 100 liter min. The container shall be able to adjust relative humidity up to 95% at a specific temperature. 6.5. Vibration tester A tester capable of performing the tests to KS R 1034 (Method of V
10、ibration Test for Automobile Parts). 7. TEST 7.1. Appearance test 7.1.1. Visual test (1) The appearance test shall be performed by visual inspection. (2) The presence of defects such as harmful flaws, and cracks, which affect the function of the speaker shall be inspected visually. 7.1.2. Dimensiona
11、l test (1) Test samples shall conform to the material quality to the engineering design specification and product standard shall conform to the drawing. 7.2. General performance 7.2.1. Polarity Test (1) Power supply shall be DC 45V. (2) As power is turned on with correct polarity of speaker, the vib
12、ration panel should indicate upward. 7.2.2. Impedance (1) Speaker impedance shall be measured in frequency range of 20Hz 20KHz in accordance with IEC 268-5. (2) Unless otherwise specified, the nominal impedance shall follow the drawing specification as either 4 Ohm or 8 Ohm. (3) Voltage or current u
13、pon applying rated 1W power shall be read with the measurement method recorded. (4) From measurements record nominal impedance and frequency. Here, compute the mean of all test samples and the maximum or minimum value shall be within 10% of the mean. (5) Frequency for impedance measurement should be
14、 indicated on drawing and must be at most within 10% of the nominal impedance. Fundamental resonance frequency (1) Fundamental resonance frequency should
15、be indicated on drawing and follow IEC 268-5 unless otherwise specified. (2) Minimum resonance frequency measurement shall be done as in 7.2.2 and the frequency and the impedance Q at the highest impedance in low frequency bandwidth shall be read. (3) Compute the mean of all test samples and the max
16、imum and the minimum measurements must be within 10% of the mean. (4) Measurement of loudspeaker boxes or a combination of woofer, mid-range loudspeaker and tweeter shall be made for each, and shall be indicated in drawings through consultation between supplier and purchaser. Those showing the same
17、characteristics as in drawings shall be accepted. 7.2.4. Transmission curve (1) The measurement shall be made in a silent room and the distance between the product and the microphone for measuring shall be set at 1 meter. (2) The output power of the loudspeaker shall be measured from practical resis
18、tance values of nominal impedance by the sine wave from 20Hz 20KHz at each effective power level of 1W, 5W, 10W and nominal maximum output. (3) At this time, the value measured from the microphone shall be within tolerance band. The tolerance band of loudspeaker chassis and loudspeaker box shall be
19、according to drawing. (4) Also, the valleys and ridges on drawing curve using 1/8 octave filter shall not exceed 10dB. The point at -10dB below the highest frequency point, that is, at one octave frequency point, shall be called the maximum limit frequency. 7.2.5. Sound Pressure Level Curve (1) Meas
20、urement shall be made in an anechoic chamber and the distance between the loudspeaker and the microphone for measuring shall be set at 1 meter. (2) The output power of loudspeaker shall be measured from practical resistance value of nominal impedance at effective output of 1W by pink noise of speake
21、r from minimum recycle frequency to maximum limit frequency. (3) Unless otherwise specified in drawing, the 1/6 octave mean value shall be within 902. (4) Also, variation within speaker recycle frequency range on one octave curve shall be within 2. 7.2.6. Distortion factor (1) The second and third h
22、armonic frequency for the basic frequency of transmission curve shall be measured. (2) Distortion factor is specified in drawing. Unless otherwise specified, the second and the third harmonic frequency for the basic wave of 1W, 5W and 10W transfer curve in the frequency range from 300Hz to 10KHz mus
23、t not exceed 5 percent. (3) In addition, the distortion factor shall be within 10 percent at standard maximum output. 7.2.7. 24、ERSION: 6 GM DAEWOO Auto & Technology (2) This test shall be performed using sine wave of 20Hz to 20KHz. Unless otherwise specified, test voltage shall be at power levels of 1W, 5W, 10W and 20W. (3) Here, no strange noise other than normal speaker sound shall be heard. 7.3. Temperature working test
25、7.3.1. High temperature working (1) The temperature of the thermostatic container shall be adjusted to the test temperature specified in the drawing or test standard and shall be set at +70 unless otherwise specified. (2) The loudspeaker shall be stored in the thermostatic container when the tempera
26、ture comes to the test temperature. At this time, the storage time shall start from the moment the temperature of the loudspeaker comes to the test temperature. However, the time shall be counted 5 minutes after storing the loudspeaker container in the container. (3) Pink noise shall be worked on th
27、e loudspeaker for 8 hours consecutively on the output power condition of 4/5 rating. (4) Upon completion of this test, perform 7.2 and the measurement shall not exceed + 5 %, -20% of initial value. 7.3.2. Low temperature working (1) The temperature of the thermostatic container shall be adjusted to
28、the test temperature specified in the drawing or test standard and shall be set at -30 unless otherwise specified. (2) The loudspeaker shall be stored in the thermostatic container when the temperature comes to the test temperature. At this time, the storage time shall start from the moment the temp
29、erature of the loudspeaker comes to the test temperature. However, the time shall be counted 5 minutes after storing the loudspeaker in the container. (3) Pink noise shall be worked on the loudspeaker for 70 hours consecutively on the output power condition of 1/2 rating. (4) Upon completion of this
30、 test, perform 7.2 and the measurement shall not exceed + 5 %, -20% of initial value. 7.3.3. High temperature and humidity working (1) The temperature and humidity of the thermostatic container shall be adjusted to the test temperature and humidity specified in the drawing or test standard and shall
31、 be set at +40 of temperature and 95% of humidity unless otherwise specified. (2) The loudspeaker shall be stored in the thermostatic container when the temperature and humidity comes to the test temperature and humidity. At this time, the storage time shall start from the moment the temperature and
32、 humidity of the loudspeaker comes to the test temperature and humidity. However, the time shall be counted 5 minutes after storing the loudspeaker in the container. (3) Pink noise shall be worked on the loudspeaker for 8 hours consecutively on the output power condition of 4/5 rating. (4) Upon comp
33、letion of this test, perform 7.2 and the measurement shall not exceed + 5 %, -20% of initial value. High temperature exposu
34、re test (1) The temperature of the thermostatic container shall be adjusted to the test temperature specified in the drawing or test standard and shall be adjusted at +80 unless otherwise specified. (2) The loudspeaker shall be stored in the thermostatic container when the temperature comes to the t
35、est temperature. At this time, the storage time shall start from the moment the temperature of the loudspeaker comes to the test temperature. However, the time shall be counted 5 minutes after storing the loudspeaker in the container. (3) The loudspeaker shall be exposed in the thermostatic containe
36、r for 48 hours consecutively. (4) Upon completion of this test, leave the test sample at room temperature for two hours and perform 7.2 and the measurement shall not exceed + 5 %, -20% of initial value. 7.4.2. Low temperature exposure test (1) The temperature of the thermostatic container shall be a
37、djusted to the test temperature specified in the drawing or test standard and shall be adjusted at -40 unless otherwise specified. (2) The loudspeaker shall be stored in the thermostatic container when the temperature comes to the test temperature. At this time, the storage time shall start from the
38、 moment the temperature of the loudspeaker comes to the test temperature. However, the time shall be counted 5 minutes after storing the loudspeaker in the container. (3) The loudspeaker shall be exposed in the thermostatic container for 48 hours consecutively. (4) Upon completion of this test, leav
39、e the test sample at room temperature for two hours and perform 7.2 and the measurement shall not exceed + 5 %, -20% of initial value. 7.5. Thermal impact test (1) Test sample is left at temperature of -40 and +85 for two hours each and 24 cycles are performed. (2) The transfer/movement time from -4
40、0 to +85 within the constant temperature chamber shall be within 10 seconds. (3) Upon completion of this test, leave the test sample at room temperature for two hours and perform 7.2 and the measurement shall not exceed + 5 %, -20% of initial value. 7.6. Vibration test (1) The speaker shall be insta
41、lled on the vibration tester in the vehicle condition with no load during testing. (2) The vibration condition shall be at 3.2G (rms) per vehicle body equipped component in accordance with Table 1. Test samples shall be installed on the test vibrator in actual vehicle condition. (3) Vibration shall
42、be performed for two hours. There shall not be any performance degradation or rattle noise from part separation, or strange noise from resonance during vibration. 44、Test Free fall is done onto a concrete floor using a packaged test sample from 1m height. Three free falls each are conducted for corner, left and right surfaces, front and back surfaces.
