6、test samples listed in paragraph 4.12. 3.2 Conditions. 3.2.1 Environmental Conditions. Unless specified otherwise, each shall be conducted at +23 E 3 E . 3.3.2 Test Conditions. Deviations from the requirements of this standard shall have been agreed upon. Such requirements shall be specified on comp

7、onent drawings, test certificates, reports, etc. 3.4 Safety. This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment. This standard does not propose to address all the safety problems associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropr

8、iate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use. 3.5 Documentation. Samples of components or material released to this standard shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this standard and approved by the responsible GM Department

9、prior to the start of delivery of production level components or materials. Any change to the component or material, e.g., design, function, properties, manufacturing process and/or location of manufacture requires a new release of the product. It is the sole responsibility of the supplier to provid

14、cumented by the supplier prior to start of delivery of the modified or changed product. In some cases, a shorter test can be agreed to between the responsible GM Department and the supplier. 4 Requirements and Procedure 4.1 General Requirements. The sample shall not show any visible damage or defect

15、s that affect the function or appearance. At least 500 ml of washing fluid shall always be contained in the reservoir so that the pump may carry out sucking and delivery. The pump shall be operated at each specified item. For other requirements, requirements in drawings shall be followed. 4.2 Requir

16、ements of Reservoir. The reservoir shall be made in a circular shape and be provided with a ventilation funnel so that washing fluid will not flow out when the vehicle runs at the maximum speed. The reservoir shall be capable of containing at least 1000 ml of washing fluid so that washing fluid may

17、come out immediately following operation of the switch. 4.3 Performance Test. With the reservoir filled up with water, perform 3-second operation of the pump 3 times and after a pause of 60 seconds measure the quantity of water and pressure. Test voltage shall be 13.0 0.5V, quantity of water shall b

18、e minimum 55 ml for 3-second operation and minimum 1000 ml for 60-second operation and the pressure shall be minimum 1.2 Kgf/cm2. In the above test, the hose linkage shall be complete and be free from water leakage. The above test is based on 2 nozzles. If the test is performed with only 1 nozzle, h

19、alf of each quantity shall be applied with the pressure remain unchanged. When two pumps are involved, each pump shall meet the above requirements. In performance test, the composition of test samples shall conform to Appendix A “Connection Diagram for Performance Test”. 4.4 Dry Temperature Stabilit

And the pump, when operated for

25、 6005 sec under 13V0.5V immediately after exposure to each of the above temperature, shall show no sign of faulty operation and meet requirements of performance test in paragraph 4.3. Checking of operation of the system composed of two pumps shall be carried out by simultaneously operating the two p

26、umps and performance test in paragraph 4.3 shall be performed for each of the pumps. 4.5 Temperature Stability Test. With the reservoir filled up with water, and expose the washing system to each of the following temperature for regulation of a region for 8 hours and subsequent for 4 hours. During a

27、nd after the test, requirements of performance test shall be met and the washing system shall show no sign of defects in appearance, cracks and deformation. Region temperature regulation: domestic +60 E , European +80 E , North America +90 E . Temperature regulations have to apply each region, and a

28、pply a highest temperature each region. 4.6 Low Temperature Test. With the reservoir filled up with water, perform 3-second operation of the pump 3 times so that the hose will be filled with water. Expose the washing system filled up with water 6 cycles to a cycle of -18 E 3 E for 4hours and subsequ

29、ent +23 E 3 E for 20hours. Subsequently, expose it to -18 E 3 E for 4hours and apply 130.5V to the pump to operate it 3 cycles with 1 cycle consisting of a 600.5 second operation and 101 minute pause. During this, the pump shall operate normally and the reservoir shall show no sign of cracks and def

30、ormation. Subsequently, expose the washing system to +23 E3 E for 24 hours and then perform performance test in paragraph 4.3. During and after the test, requirements of performance test shall be met and the washing system shall show no sign of defects in appearance, cracks and deformation. Region t

31、emperature regulation: domestic, European -18 E , North America -30 E . Temperature regulations have to apply each region, and apply a lowest temperature each region. 4.7 High Temperature Test. With the reservoir filled up with water, perform 3-second operation of the pump 3 times so that the hose w

32、ill be filled with water. Expose the washing system filled up with water to each of the following temperature for reservoir mounting position for 8 hours. At the designated temperature, stop up the nozzle and apply 130.5V to the pump to operate it 6 cycles with 1 cycle consisting of a 3 second opera
