This standard aims at specifying the test method of abrasion resistance of parts mounted in combination with the flange between the body and the door, trunk lid and other parts
4、 that require water tightness. 1.1.1 Classification by Test Method. 1.1.1.1 Type A. A test method in which abrasion is effected perpendicularly to the lengthwise direction of the test piece by bringing it into contact with the abrasion jig on which the abrasion material is mounted. 1.1.1.2 Type B. A
5、 test method in which abrasion is effected along the length of the test piece by bringing it into contact with the chromium-coated abrasion jig (according to JASO M 305-88). 1.1.1.3 Type C. A test method in which abrasion is effected along the length of the test piece by bringing it into contact wit
6、h the coated panel. 1.2 Applicability.
