This test standard shall be used to determine the resistance to peel of tapes and foils consisting of pressure sensitive adhesive coated fabrics,

4、plastics, paper etc. intended for applications involving adherence to painted automobile body panels. 1.2 Applicability. This test method shall apply to the time of measuring self adhesive tapes and foils that applied to the automobile. 2 References Note: Only the latest approved standards are appli

None 3 Resources 3.1 Equipment. 3.1.1 Tensile test machine capable of traversing at a speed of (20020) mm/minute and equipped with a force extension re

6、corder and clamp type grips capable of swiveling about axes in the initial plane of the bond line. 8、site end of the test panel in the upper jaws (see Figure 1). 4.2.6 The machine shall be started and the force necessary to peel the test piece from the test panel recorded autographically by a force extension plot (preferably) or alternatively the force shall be recorded as often as separation passe

9、s each bench mark (2 to 9). The jaw separation rate shall be (20020) mm/min. 5 Data 5.1 Evaluation. The resistance to peel shall be calculated as the average of the separating force recorded on the force extension diagram, ignoring the first 25 mm and last 25 mm of separation, expressed in N/cm widt

10、h of test piece. 5.2 Expression of Results. With reference to this test method the resistance to peel shall be expressed as the arithmetic average of three test results or as the individual result (single test) in N/cm width rounded to the nearest 0.1 N/cm width. 6 Safety This standard may involve h

Resistance to Peel: As determined by this test method, shall be defined as the force, acting at approx. 180 and parallel to a test piece of standard dimensions adhered to a painted steel panel, necessary to “peel“ the test piece from the panel. 7.2 Acronyms, Ab
