The tester shall not cause any risks in use, have enough durability, good shape and good assembling condition in order not to have mechanical and electrical

9、troubles. And when measuring the electric heating resistance of the heater at the portion between the live part and support using a 500 V insulation ohmmeter it shall be 5 Mor more. However, in case of including the heater circuit, the electric heating resistance of 0.5 Mor more will be enough. 3.1.

10、2 Stirrer. The shape and dimensions shall be as shown in Figure 1 and the material shall be soft iron wire or stainless steel. 13、 so that the immersion mark is at the liquid level, making sure that the thermometer bulb does not touch the side of the tube. 4.2.4 Stir the mixture rapidly using a stirrer, avoiding the introduction of air bubbles. 4.2.5 If the expected aniline point is room temperature or higher, apply heat to th

14、e jacket tube so that the temperature rises at a rate of 1 to 3 E /min. until complete miscibility is obtained. Continue stirring and allow the mixture to cool at a rate of 0.5 to 1.0 E /min. to record as the aniline point the temperature at which the mixture suddenly becomes cloudy throughout. Note

15、: This temperature, and not the temperature of separation of small amounts of materials, is the minimum equilibrium solution temperature. 5 Data 5.1 Evaluations. Repeat the observation of aniline point temperature by heating and cooling repeatedly until a report as directed as follows can be made. 5

16、.1.1 In case measured values obtained 3 times in sequence are within 0.1, calculate them in mean value and round up to the first decimal place to make it an aniline point of the oil. Repeat the measurement 5 times 5.1.2 When any of the measured values for successive 3 times exceeds 0.1, re-test with

17、 new aniline and oil using a clear and dry tester. When successively measured values show progressive changes or exceed allowance for repeated accuracy, the aniline point shall be considered unmeasurable. 5.1.3 Repeatability. The difference between two test results, obtained by the same personnel wi

18、th the same tester under constant testing conditions on identical test material on 2 different dates at different time, shall not exceed 0.2 E . 6 Safety This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment.
