9、y can. 3.2.2 If a test on complete components is impractical, test pieces of suitable shape and size shall be taken from parts wherever possible. 3.2.3 When procedure to 3.2.2 is impractical, specially prepared test piece shall be tested. The test piece shall be (2505) mm u (1005) mm u (10.2) mm and

10、 metallic substrate to general steel sheet of GM Korea or equivalent. 3.2.4 Test panels shall be manufactured in accordance with same material and procedure as components are producted and conformed to relevant material specifications. 3.2.5 For initial sample approval and arbitration purposes, at l

11、east 3 test pieces shall be tested and for routine quality control, at least 1 test piece. 4 Procedures 4.1 Conditioning. Test pieces shall be tested according to the following conditions immediately after conditioning. 4.1.1 For Oven Dried Organic Coatings. 24 to 30 hours after coating and baking.

12、4.1.2 For Air Dried Organic Coatings. 72 to 96 hours after coating and drying. 4.1.3 For Components Received from the Supplier. Test without conditioning. 4.2 Conditions. 4.2.1 Test Conditions. Deviations from the requirements of this standard shall have been agreed upon. Such requirements shall be

13、specified on component drawings, test certificates, reports, etc. 4.3 Instructions. 4.3.1 The organic coated surface of test piece shall be wiped with the cotton flannel containing ethanol/water mixture in clause 3.1.4 and dried using fan or compressed air. 4.3.2 The dried test piece shall be stored

14、 in humidity chamber for 3 hours at +40 E 2K and (932) % relative humidity. 4.3.3 The test piece shall be removed and synthetic fuel oil soot solution spotted onto the test surface using sampling tube in at least 3 places spaced 3 cm min apart in 10 mm diameter. 4.3.4 The test piece shall be stored

After testing at a room temperature, the test pieces shall be evaluated by naked eye according to the foll
